HA! I think I FINALLY, after almost 3 years of owning it, have figured out how to make my sewing machine work. I got it for Christmas but it only worked for about 6 months and then I just got frustrated and gave up; occasionaly trying again once in a while. I tried again Friday and it's working! There is a catch though; I can't get it to do a zigzag stitch at all; the needle will go back and forth like it's trying to do it but then it seems like the bobbin thread doesn't catch on the second row. Either way, I'm excited I can at least do a line stitch. I can guarantee every page for about the next four months will have stitching on it, if I can keep it working. Does anyone have any sewing tips to share? I will welcome any and all since I really have no clue what I'm doing.
Here's a new American Crafts page; I stitched all the green ribbon down. Also....do you see those flowers? That mystery bush? If anyone has any idea what those are please let me know....we have a ton of them in our side yard, they're really tiny and grow in little clumps on these small bushes. They only bloom for a very short time in the spring, and the flowers close as soon as the sun starts to go down. They have either white or purple flowers. I've asked a gajillion people and noone knows what these are. All I know is that I love them.
I have to share these pics of Ayla from today....she went outside with Daddy and was puddle jumping. She loves to play in the rain, especially when it's warm enough to be barefoot. She looks so different to me with her hair down and kinda crazy and curly from the rain....and she's realllly thinking about becoming a redhead like Nana and Uncle Jeff.
Have a good week everyone!
