Hi everyone! I had a page go up in the Garden at Two Peas in a Bucket today. As soon as I got home from CHA in July, I took the girls out for a full day of Mommy time. We went shopping, hung out and laughed and had fun. It was such a perfect day. Then we topped it off with an early dinner at Five Guys Burgers & Fries. I can NOT tell you how delicious the food was. Perfect end to a perfect day.
Supplies:Tim Holtz FIlm Strip ribbon, Studio Calico hearts veneer, Studio Calico Weekday rub-on, Tim Holtz Lost & Found Salvage Stickers, Canvas Corp. mini clothespins, Cavallini Butterfly Stickers, 7Gypsies Victoria tape, 7Gypsies Tags, Martha Stewart Turquiose Findings, Grasshopper Stroll Thickers
And this page went up on the Studio Calico blog for the Weekly Challenge. Ayla loves to draw animals and cut them out, so my challenge was to use your child's artwork on a page. Or if you don't have kids, use your own, or some kind of ephemera. I can't wait to see your take on this challenge!
Supplies Used:
Memoir Rosebud paper, Memoir Frolic paper, Elementary Show Your Work paper, Documentary f/stop paper, State Fair Label Stickers, Elementary Alpha stickers, Weekdays rub-ons, Veneer Alphabet, Bonny Blue Mister Huey, American Crafts rhinestones brads, misc. twine, American Crafts Precision Pen, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher
I have a little story to share too. Last night the girls and I were upstairs folding clothes, Ayla disappeared for a bit and then came back asking for some tape. She had made a sign she wanted to hang on her door. She showed me, then proceeded to inform me that it says "No babies allowed in Ayla's room". I pretty much died laughing. I have no idea where she came up with this, and the fact that she did the baby with a smile on it's face in the circle with the line through it? Brilliant, that child is.
We've got a busy week this week; Ayla begins tumbling tonight and she and I are both so excited. Brad is back in full force at work so most evenings it will just be the girls and I. Looking forward to fall and lots of fun with my babies.
love these pages!!!
