So I've been a horrible blogger for what...a year now? I'm really trying to remedy that. In that spirit, I want to share a page that went up on the Studio Calico blog a while ago. It's absolutely my most favorite page to date. Don't you just love it when what you have in your head actually comes out right on paper?
I used my Silhouette to cut all the circles, way too time consuming any other way. Also, I know I am beating a dead horse here (HA!) because I've said it a jillion times, but I love the Pony Mister Huey on wood veneers. Makes them look like they've been stained and is just gorgeous. I used a ton of the American Crafts foam adhesive to pop up each circle higher than the last. You just stack them, the first circle only had 1 layer of adhesive, the 2nd circle 2 layers, and so on and so forth. Then I just topped it off with some SC tags and stickers, some twine and mini clothespins and that was it!
Supplies: Silhouette + Studio Calico Countryside Chipboard Tan aplhas, Studio Calico State Fair Chipboard Alphas, Studio Calico Countryside County Line paper, Studio Calico State Fair tags, Studio Calico hearts wood veneer, Studio Calico Pony Mister Huey, Studio Calico Elementary Label Stickers, American Crafts Precision Pens, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, Green Apple Divine Twine, Canvas Corp. mini clothespins, American Crafts foam adhesive
Glad you're back to blogging! :)
