Hi guys! I have a new challenge up on the Studio Calico blog. It's all about using one color only on your pages. I'd love to see your take on this challenge! Link them up here for a chance to win an SC Gift Certificate.
I used to hate the color pink. Way too girly for me and I have never been a girl girl. But then we went and had not one, but 2 girls. One of whom already cites pink as her favorite color (along with purple) and another who is still too young to pick, but I'm sure it will be pink. So I've had to embrace it. To create this page I cut some hearts from patterned paper with my Silhouette and then layed down the negative side, tracing around one of the outlines with a pink marker. I adhered it only at the edges with my Tiny Attacher so that I could slip in little bits. I misted the wood veneers for my title as well as one of he punched out hearts and added them in. Then I just added a few embellishments (love the Martha Stewart Findings) and stamped with some Grapefruit Zing. Supplies used are listed below. Hope you enjoyed this challenge!
